Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship to my country?

Due to shipper restrictions, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please note that we do not offer Saturday, Sunday, or holiday shipping/delivery.

When will my backorder ship?

Although we try to maintain inventory of all products in the warehouse, occasionally an item will be backordered. Normally the product will become available in a few days. You will receive e-mail notification as soon as the product ships.

Can I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately, you cannot change your shipping address after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the fulfillment agency and can no longer be changed by our system.

When is your shipping cut off?

Orders placed on, or before 10 A.M. PST, will typically ship out that same business day. Due to order processing times this is not guaranteed.

Returns & Replacements

What is your refund policy?

Returns and Replacements on physical products are allowed within 14 days after receipt of order. The Socket Mobile Store reserves the right to either repair or replace the defective unit. Repair or replacement orders within our return policy will be shipped back to the customer by the same shipping method as the original order at no cost to the customer.

Should the customer request any other m­­­­­eans of shipping, involving additional charges, the customer will be responsible and billed for those charges. Shipping, handling, insurance charges, tariffs, import charges and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer for the initial shipment, as well as the return shipment on all non functioning merchandise.

Merchandise returned for replacement or refund MUST be returned with all original manufacturers packaging, including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. The customer will be charged the cost of replacement for any articles missing from the original manufacturers packaging.

The Socket Store does not guarantee the compatibility of any merchandise we sell. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure compatibility of any products we sell prior to purchasing.

All products are sold with the full manufacturers limited warranty. Socket Store disclaims all warranties. Manufacturer warranty applies from date of purchase. This disclaimer in no way affects the terms of any manufacturers warranties.

Refurbished, Special Order, and Clearance Items may be returned for replacement only, no refunds will be permitted. Service and Customized Charges are non refundable. Socket Store is not responsible for typographical errors.

How do I request a refund?

All physical product returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) marked clearly on the return shipping-label. To request a refund for physical products purchased online click here.

How do I cancel my order?

Unfortunately your order can not be cancelled once it has been submitted.



Do I have to pay sales tax? 

Depending on the order, sales tax may be calculated and charged. Any sales tax charged will be indicated once your billing and/or shipping address have been entered during checkout.  

What address should I enter in the billing information screen?

 For credit card verification, you must enter the address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. You do not need to enter a middle name or initial.


Payment, Pricing & Promotions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard/EuroCard, Discover, American Express, so long as they are connected with one of the major credit card companies listed above. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.

Should I put spaces or dashes in the Credit Card numbers?

No. Your card number should be entered in as a continuous string of numbers.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged the day your order has been submitted.

How will the charge show up on my credit card?

The charge will appear on your credit card as: "SocketStore" 

Why are you not accepting my credit card?

There are many reasons for a failed credit card transaction. Your card may have expired or reached its limit or a credit card computer, either on our end or your bank's end, may have encountered a machine error. If you do have problems, please contact your credit card provider. Please provide them any error message numbers you may have received, as well as the order number from the shopping cart.


Standard Limited Warranty


Socket Mobile Incorporated (Socket) warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Product must be purchased new from a Socket Authorized Distributor or Reseller. Used products and products purchased through non-authorized channels are not eligible for this warranty support.


Socket Bluetooth Cordless Ring Scanner Series 9: Socket warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service for one (1) year from the date of purchase or 5 million actuations (trigger presses), whichever occurs first.

Consumables such as batteries, removable cables, cases, straps, styli, memory cards, chargers, cradles, and CF-to-PC Card adapters: 90 day coverage only

Incompatibility is not a defect covered by the Socket warranty. During the warranty period, Socket will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product at no charge when furnished with proof of retail purchase, provided that you deliver the product to Socket or to an authorized Socket Service Center.

The returned product must be accompanied by a return material authorization (RMA) number issued by Socket or by an authorized Socket Service Center. If you ship the product, you must use the original container or equivalent and you must pay the shipping charges to Socket. Socket will pay surface shipping charges back to any location in the contiguous United States. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.

Socket may, at its option, replace or repair the product with new or reconditioned parts and the returned product becomes Socket property. Socket warrants the repaired or replaced products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for ninety (90) days after the return shipping date, or for the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is greater.

This warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of products damaged by abuse, accident, lost products, and use beyond Socket’s published specifications, liquid immersion, misuse or misapplication, damages caused by an act of God, nor as a result of service or modification other than by Socket unless specifically described by Socket in product documentation. This warranty does not provide coverage for any product updates, for example, updates due to design changes, except as deemed necessary by Socket, and does not cover any calibration or adjustments necessary for product functionality. This warranty does not cover refurbishing cosmetic damages such as scratched paint, cases or LCD screens. This warranty is void if you install batteries into the product that were not supplied or approved by Socket.


Some states do not allow limitation of implied warranties, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. This product may contain fully tested, recycled parts, warranted as if new. For more warranty information:
